Fly into Catania
Catania Airport (CTA) is your best choice, about an hour's drive to Noto. We recommend renting a car for the weekend.

Book ahead where you can, and remember: restaurants here open a little later for lunch and dinner than you might be used to. WhatsApp is often the easiest way to reserve.

Sicily's nature reserves are spectacular but come with few facilities: bring water, sandals and, ideally, a car.

Eloro
The easiest reserve beach to reach, a short walk from the parking area. Very nice.
Vendicari
A huge reserve with shallow, spectacularly clear water. ~15 min walk from parking.
Calamosche
A famous sheltered cove, with an exposed ~1km walk from parking.
Marianelli
Quieter and more secluded, reached by a longer walk.
An Easier Beach Day
San Lorenzo
Soft sand and shallow water, the easiest access of them all. Can get crowded.
Agua Beach Club
A beach club at San Lorenzo with loungers, a restaurant and a kids' area. Book well in advance.

The lido of the 5-star resort.
Pura Vida
Tasteful lounge-style beach club near Pachino with fresh seafood, about 40 minutes away.

Clear water and sparkling sand, about 40 minutes south.

Some beach days are best organised with whoever has a car: most of these need one to reach.
